Judging provides a meaningful way for industry experts to connect with students and encourage their aspirations.
Working in teams, the students conducted interviews, analyzed data, and created poster presentations which were displayed around the room and offered a snapshot of the struggles faced by Tucson’s low-income residents.
The store's shelves are stocked with everything from UA-branded clothing and office supplies to furniture and vintage memorabilia.
The event, takes place Friday, March 14, and will be led by eight award-winning young adult and middle grade book creators.
