Tucson Spotlight editor and publisher Caitlin Schmidt joined host Steve Goldstein on Arizona Public Media's "The Press Room," alongside Sarah Lapidus of The Arizona Republic, Paul Ingram of the Tucson Sentinel and AZPM’s Christopher Conover.

The panel tackled key issues shaping Arizona’s political landscape, including the heated Senate debate between Kari Lake and Rep. Ruben Gallego and the closely watched CD6 race between Kirsten Engel and Rep. Juan Ciscomani. They also discussed recent Tucson visits by vice presidential contenders JD Vance and Tim Walz, as well as the unveiling of a new website for former University of Arizona President Dr. Robert Robbins.
