The NC Dinos of South Korea’s Korean Baseball Organization are once again calling Tucson home for spring training, arriving in late January to train at the Reid Park Annex Fields as they prepare for the upcoming KBO season.

The perennial contender has filled its camp with daily workouts and exhibition games ahead of Opening Day.

The Dinos’ return to Tucson continues a longstanding relationship between the city and the club, which has trained in Tucson since 2012, a year before playing its first game as a KBO expansion team.

The Dinos play in Changwon, South Korea, a city of about 1 million people on the southeastern coast.

The team has been using the time efficiently, working out daily and competing in games as it prepares for Opening Day. Camp will run through early March as the Dinos finalize their roster before returning to South Korea for the start of the season.
