Help us grow and win something local

Tucson Spotlight is free for every reader because people like you make it possible. This summer, we're asking you to help us reach more Southern Arizonans and we're making it worth your while.

Help us grow and win something local

Tucson Spotlight exists because this community deserves independent local journalism that reflects all of it. You already know that. Now we need your help making sure more of your neighbors do too.

We're not asking for money. We're asking you to talk about us.

Now through July 31, we're running a referral challenge. For every friend you refer who signs up for the Tucson Spotlight newsletter, you'll be entered to win a gift card to one of our favorite local businesses: Stacks Book Club, ChappopĂn Cafe, Di Luna Candles, or No Anchovies. Four winners. All Tucson.

Why does this matter? Two reasons:

First, Tucson Spotlight is free for every reader, and we want to keep it that way. The more people reading our work, the stronger the case we can make to the funders and members who make that possible.

Second, we're the only newsroom in Southern Arizona built around training and mentoring the next generation of diverse local journalists. Every new reader is someone else in this community who knows that work is happening and why it matters.

You don't have to spend a dime. Just share your link. We'll handle the rest.
