The University of Arizona fell 6-3 to New Mexico on Tuesday night at Hi Corbett Field after a momentum shift in the middle innings.

The Wildcats jumped out to an early lead, but a big third inning from the Lobos flipped the game and put Arizona behind for good.

After the strong start, Arizona struggled to produce offensively and couldn't capitalize on chances late as New Mexico closed it out.

The Wildcats will host Texas Tech for a trio of games later this week, taking on the Red Raiders Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at noon.
