The University of Arizona baseball team is sitting at 8-15 on the season, struggling to find consistency after a 1-8 start that saw the Wildcats hitting just .224 at the plate.

The team has shown flashes of strong hitting and pitching but has failed to deliver complete performances. Arizona has improved offensively over the past 14 games, hitting .304 as a team and averaging 10.9 hits per game, but has been unable to sustain that production consistently across the season.

As Big 12 conference play continues with the Wildcats at 2-4 in conference, Arizona will need to find its footing quickly.

The talent is there, but the Wildcats have yet to put together the kind of complete performances that defined last season's College World Series run.

The Wildcats return to Hi Corbett Field Tuesday, March 24 to host Grand Canyon at 6 p.m.
